Started to get this topic debated on another thread but it seems that the players prowess in the sheets rather than in shots was more interesting to some. Just remember guys - zimcricketforums.com, the clue is in the title.

7 days to go and this is all I have heard so far.

E.Chigumbura Rocks to Eagles
S.Williams Tuskers to Eagles
S.Marillier Rocks to Rhinos

Anybody know any others?

i knew this would happen with the rocks.

I mean...who would want to live in Masvingo? That seems to be the reputation.

A quality player wont want to live there, a local that make it big wouldnt want to live there. If Eagles are offering player x he same amount of money or slightly less, you'd be mad not to go to Harare with its coaches, exposure, perceived selection bias and higher quality of life/food availability etc.

Would be good to get a start up gig in the big time and thats about it.

For those NRL fans it like the Canberra Raiders, struggles to get players to the area.

That Canberra Green Machine used to be formidable. Laurie Daley, Bret Mullins, etc,.

Oh yeah back in the day the green machine were unbelievable.
But once they went, and they stopped cheating the cap Nd the quality dropped there was no carrot there for a big name, Brisbane and easts could underspend and still get players for their monopoly ad beach lifestyle respectively.

The sad fact remains is that a rock player has hit the big time when he has a means to escape the rocks.

I'm not really sure that the Kenyans can or do bring anything to Zim cricket

Tikolo is vastly experienced of course, but he's getting on a bit now and his best gift to Zim cricket would probably be in a coaching role, Odoyo is only a so-so player while the rest of Kenyan cricket seems to have imploded, having seen Raggy Aga play while he was at Sussex i can only say that the quality is not that impressive ... :? ... certainly not impressive enough to warrant giving away a selection spot that could be used to bring a potential Vitori through
