[Series Thread] Franchise 'B' Competitions

Post by maehara »

Don't know how much information we're going to get on these, but here's a thread anyway. First up are the first matches in the 3-day competition:

Mashonaland Eagles v Southern Rocks: 26-28 September, Old Hararians Sports Club
Matabeleland Tuskers v Mountaineers: 26-28 September, Bulawayo Athletic Club

Lately the young players have been in the Logan Cup. B team players have been all over the place

Well with the standard of the Logan cup being the way it has this year devoid of all the stars and people moving aboard then I imagine the B sides ate a ragtag bunch of kids, guys trying to keep fit on Saturdays, others doing their community service and the rest filled by a few of the local lads down at the bistro round the corner.

Maybe cock - he seems to know the go on the B scene... Maybe even old cocky is going to whip on the pads and keep the eagles middle order afloat?

If Querl played for the B side last year , then we should take this league seriously ....... its a feeder to our First Class and ultimately into the National teams .
