Obviously attention focuses on the test match now with the odi series out the way this would be my 11

1. Sibanda
2 mawoyo
3. masakadza
4. taylor
5. Taibu
6. waller
7. Chigumbura ( but is truly in last chance saloon)
8. Meth
9. Shingi masakadza
10. Ray price
11. Jarvis

Waller can bowl a few over to complement Ray price too

I get where the DOG is coming from mate :) Almost every thread, somewhere, somehow, has a Zimbabwe line up in it.
However, here's my test line up for the upcoming test match.

1. V.Sibanda
2. T.Mawoyo
3. H.Mazakadza
4. B.Taylor
5. C.Ervine
6. M.Waller
7. T.Taibu
8. K.Meth
9. R.Price
10. K.Jarvis
11. C.Mpofu

12th man: Utsea.

Vitori is injured isn't he...therefore he isn't in my XI

Its a good thing it offers lively debate on people preferences towards players and line ups that people obviously get passionate about. They are the guys doing the hard yards on the field so the right line up is hugely important in the grand scheme of things. If people dont wish to take part in a particular thread thats fine but no teddies being thrown outta the pram please :D

Don't worry these lineups are beginning to look similar, soon the only point of discussion will be Meth vs Chiggs, Waller vs Ervine vs Mutizwa. Otherwise the other positions are now settled, more or less.

Some horribly inexperienced bowlers, fragile Vusi-Mawoyo opening pair, a Hami off form, Waller-new, then 5 BOWLERS (never mind the innocuous pair who give the false impression that we have a short tail)!!! In those positions, of the batsman, only Taylor and Taibu standout out as likely performers. I'll hand one thing to you, some of you guys are very generous, or should I say friendly when it comes to a view of TEST CRICKET in the light of Zim cricket! (150all out in the second day, chasing 700/1dec, thanks to Price, with a 50 for Taylor&Taibu). Good luck!
