North-South Regional T20 Series | 12th-14th Apr 2022

Post by secretzimbo »

Northerns Vs Southerns at OH, today, tomorrow and Thursday.

Hopefully we see all the big names playing and no weird selections, but I haven't had a squad list sent yet. Raza & Blessing still busy elsewhere.

Presumably this series will determine who ends up in the first team playing SA 'A', and who ends up in our 'A' team going to Nepal.

Good News that players are getting more domestic T20s before the qualifiers

Looking forward to the extra cricket.

I hope the outcome of this series is based on your last couple of sentences but you never know with Zimbabwe  3 ducks for Chamu, let’s make him captain

Interesting to see Bright Phiri playing.

He did show some good signs during the t20s so I understand the call up. He is knocking Larry about a bit anyway

Doesn't look like Ervine, Williams or Burl can be bothered with it again.

Mutombodzi, Masuku and Maruma all playing despite not playing in the franchise t20 stuff. Quite funny.

I thought some of the people watching the live stream today might have included our glorious leader, but alas he is busy on a TV programme in India today

Not sure that is a fair comment on Ervine as he has played as much domestic cricket as anyone over the last few years. Burl is injured I think.

Williams "unwell" apparently but calling BS on that one.

Think Ngarvara has a niggle.

From watching today it is clear that Evans and Munyonga are going to get some game time with the "A" side.

It is painful watching Mavuta these days. bowls 3/4 pies an over.
