[Match Thread] New Zealand v Zimbabwe: 2nd ODI
Zimbabwe have dropped Keegan Meth and replaced him with Prosper Utseya. An interesting move given the smallish nature of the ground. Tarun Nethula (a great leg spinning prospect for NZ) and Jacob Oram are selected in place of Nathan McCullum and Doug Bracewell are sitting out. The match is delayed currently due to rain.

Hope you guys get a link soon!
I hate what NZ are doing! Using us to assess their stocks, try out new players and combinations! Are we guinea pigs or cricket opposition? Everybody else(media, fans, etc) besides the NZ players keeps on saying they're preparing for the real test - SA!
What I hate is listening to them constantly talking us up, giving us respect, pretending they're wary of us! Come on guys, you virtually ended our Test status last time, thumped us in the WC, brought a weakened team(poor team actually) and still thumped us in all games in our own backyard! In the space of that five day Test, you could've won the test, two ODIs & two T20s to claim all series! So stop talking shit, we're pathetic!

Rain was expected, and that's exactly what happened, but Meth dropped for Utseya(two spinners), win toss - field first! Brendan Taylor!!!!
I give up

Brilliant bowling by Shingi to start of. Maiden over!
Opened the bowling, I supposed that was meant for him to get the raw deal - bowl into the wind, so Jarvis can get some assistance from the other end. Should be interesting to see how all these liberties which continue to be extended to him will actually work out!

Shingi very confident, bowling well, and quick(by our standards) mostly 134kph. Should've been a maiden but for that vfery think top edge over slip for four!
Predictably, Jarvis will get spanked, but he's the fastest so far 137kph his quickest delivery!

You, they're bowling pretty quick consistently. Shingi does vary it quite a bit though - drops it 127-8, then 134!
