1. Sibanda
2. H Masakadza
3. Chakabva
4. Taylor (c/wk)
5. C Ervine
6. M Waller
7. Meth
8. Utseya
9. Jarvis
10. Mushangwe
11. Mpofu
The main problem to come out of that game was the use of part timers to fill the 5th bowling quota, something which I
thought might be an issue.
So I think we need to sacrifice a batsman (Chibhabha) for a specialist bowler. Waller and Masakadza could still be called on to bowl a couple of overs if absolutely necessary, and judging by yesterday's effort it's safe to say there will be at least one bowler who gets carted.
I would not drop Mpofu though. He's been a pretty reliable workhorse for many years and deserves more than one match to hit his stride. Utseya was completely unthreatening, but 6 an over in yesterday's slogfest was not too bad and there is nobody to replace him with.
I'd move Chakabva to number three. I want this to be the tour where he comes of age, so let's see if given the opportunity to bat around our top batsmen he can put together a good score.

Mushangwe should come after utseya hs an allrounder in the making i think we should give chibhabha another chance he needs to be more proactive n punish tino bests half volleys

Meth for Chamu is the change I'd make for this match. See how that goes.

I'd like to bring in an extra bowler. I don't like the prospect of having to find 10 overs from Masakadza, Waller and Chibhabha. I guess that bowler would have to be Meth, as I think he is the best equipped of the bowlers in the squad to bat at 7 (although I don't think he is really good enough to bat there long term). I guess the man to make way would have to be Chakabva.
This would mean that Chibhabha's bowling becomes irrelevant, so you could also bring Mawoyo in for him. That said, he played a couple of pleasing strokes before his dismissal, and I would stick with him for now.

The first change should be to send Makoni back to Zim because he and the other selector have selected a 15 that is not the top 15 that could have been selected to represent Zimbabwe. on the changes to the team Chitara should come in for Mpofu, Meth for Chamu and send a plane to fetch Price to replace Utseya

The commentators were right when they said mpofu's career has been blighted by inconsistency, His body language was also a concern somebody rightly saying that he looked like a defeated man. I would concur with that statement. lets get chatara In and give him an extended run in the side he looks like the real deal
Mushangwe really impressed me and saw some of his bag of tricks including the doosra...very good sir, Will be a brilliant player in a few years time

Chibhabha and Vusi's opening partnership looked pretty solid, unflappable, serious, even assured - before their dismissals. They just needed to find the gaps. And Vusi's erroneous dismissal should've been appealed and Chibhabha shouldn't have walked. If that partnership can survive 10 to 15 overs regularly we might win a few matches. So I say keep Chibhabha, even if we don't need his bowling. I liked Mushangwe but even he needs to have bodies around the bat. So captaincy and fielding has to improve. I also don't like the half volleys that our guys like to think is fast bowling and I'm partial to return to the Spin Quartet strategy, that way we might have a chance. But it's not going to happen on this tour. I'll keep Mpofu but not give him the new ball, that should go to Chatara and, yes, Jarvis. We once called him Kyle 'McGrath' Jarvis, let him find his inner McGrath.
1. Vusi
2. Chibhabha
3. Hami
4. Taylor
5. Ervine
6. Waller
7. Meth
8. M'shangwe
9. Chatara
10. Jarvis
11. Mpofu

Chibhabha needs to be replaced someone, pretty much anyone will do. Meth would be a good option, we need that extra bowler.
