[Match Thread] Zimbabwe v India: 4th ODI
So, what can we do in Bulawayo? Maruma for Waller might be a mere formality after 3 single digit scores. Should we go for 2 spinners? If so, Mushangwe over Mutomobodzi is my choice, but which fast bowler to rest?
Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v India: 4th ODI
would like to see this team for this match
Hammie
Vusi
BRMT
Williams
SR Butt
Maruma ( never seen him bat but Waller needs to be dropped )
Chigs
Mutombodzi
Cremer
Vitori
Chatara /Chinouya
dont think Hammie and BRMT will push up the order but they should
Vusi, Hammie and BRMT must step up these guys are the most experienced players and continue to fail or get starts and then get out .....
Hammie making 3 starts and then playing terrible shots to get out against Mishra is just as bad as BRMT failing 3 times if these senior players get starts they must go on to make 100's
would like to see Cremer given another go in ODI's if he fails bring back Mushangwe
still think the bowling squad is not balanced well with Pricey gone and Utseya not keeping the runs down there are no economical bowlers in the team ...... Ed Rainsford
Wish Pricey was still available ..... Utseya is hopeless but will never get dropped for some reason
Batting depth is a massive problem Maruma I guess is due for turn with Malcolm terribly out of form
Winter conditions may leave abit of juice in the pitch so maybe leave out a spinner for another seamer

Zimbabwe have named an unchanged side from the last game and are batting first.

I am happy with the squad and believe both BRMT and Waller will come good on QSC. Only change I could have done is instilling of CONFIDENCE, so Mushangwe for Utseya but that is not happening now.
