you really need a fair bit of Int cricket to get recognised properly and he hasn't got his name about enough ... do you think he signed a contract out of sympathy to ZC?

I heard he did have a deal over there. I guess we'll see in the next couple of days as that competiton is already up and running. Now that it has been awarded List A status, the Dhaka Premier Division could be the most lucrative 50 tournament in the world... The likes of Angelo Matthews, Scott Styris and Azhar Mahmood are playing, along with a lot of unheralded Sri Lankans. I can't think of any other domestic 50 over tournament that attracts more than the odd overseas player.

Dont think we should under estimate how earning a few bob may help a couple of players stick around, particularly the likes of Raza who is not on a full contract and has reportedly not been to happy about his salary.
Its perfect for the players really, a good hard series against Pakistan then a month of List A cricket in Bangladesh before coming home for the new domestic season.
Cannot see Williams or Taylor in any of the squads!? ... but Hami, Chigs, Vusi and Raza are there with the latter two already having played (as indicated in another thread)
