I know the reason we dont send players on A-Tours is due to tight spending but I think Zimbabwe would be greatly served to get some happening ....

You will never know if a player will be good enough on the international scene or if he will be able to combat foreign pitches unless you send him on A-tours to gain experience and test the waters otherwise we're stuck with throwing them in the deep and and hopeing they float .....

Just look at Vusi and Matsi two perfect examples these guys had talent at a young age but were thrown in too early and their career's have suffered, Matsi can't even make the team anymore and Vusi is only half the player he is capable of being I believe if these guys were 1st exposed to A-tours before international cricket the step up may not have been too much and their career's would be getter for it. Plenty of current and former players have stated that the Franchise system just isn't up to scratch and the jump between it and the international stage is too large .....

It seems now every Country is onto this idea with Australia, England, Sth Africa, India, NZ, Sri Lanka, the West Indies and even Bangladesh all getting A-tours happening ......

Agree about Matsi.

He could have been a Zim legend.
