The batting is so weak in this batch. I mean even more so than normal. Other than Hlabangane.

And yet some continue to claim we are producing young players that can compete on the international stage. The standard of our youngsters now is lower than what many associates are producing.

There's a few decent youngsters in this batch that could be worked with with good coaches - they are mostly still only 17 after all. But the quantity and depth of talent is getting worryingly low. It basically gets more limited in each successive batch.

Hlabangana has the goods for sure. I don't know much about Konson other than his NPL century, which for a 16 year old was pretty special. Viljoen and Banda should be in the squad - not sure why they haven't been picked. Our best player of this generation is in South Africa and seemingly doesn't want to play for ZC.

Our talent level must be down at Uganda's level by now!
