ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier
Re: ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier
Few questions...
Is antum eligible now or still issues in this regard?
Will musekiwa get a game as lower order power hitter. Would be good at 7 methinks.
Any domestic 20/20 before these games?

What are the games playing this week? Are they sub-sub regional qualifiers or like the same level and the best from both go to a main Africa qualifier? It’s totally confusing these days

Three separate sub regional qualifiers. Top two in each go to the regional final along with Uganda and Namibia.

There's 3 sub-regionals. Top two teams from each join Namibia and Uganda in the Africa Final next year.

That’s nervy stuff, we’d have to at least get through to the Africa final though, won’t we?! Get tonked by Namibia and Uganda there.

What is the hold up with Antum? Must be a reason given somewhere, ICC or ZC?secretzimbo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 8:09 pmNo,
No,
No. Possibly some intra-squad warm-ups next week.

Namibia seem to have fallen off a bit this year, they've been losing a lot. Uganda are surely weaker than Namibia but then it was the case last time too.
Zimbabwe, just as last time, should get through the main qualifier with ease, however with Zimbabwe we would never know.

In the early days of this forum I used to joke that we'd probably be playing Burkina Faso come 2024, I guess I wasn't too far off.
