Like Kyle Abbot he probably realised that players like Ngidi, Andile and other players of colour would invariably get the nod ahead of him if he has a couple of bad games. They were absolutely furious with Rassouw weren't they. Abbot I got the impression they partially understood, but even i thought the timing from the former was poor, and his comments didn't help
