Re: Bangladesh in Sri Lanka 2021
Taskin and Ebadat bowling impressively here in the short spell before lunch. Both generating some serious bounce which was not on evidence in the first 2 days of the match. Its bouncing like the WACA out here!
Taskin bowling in the high 130s to low 140s, while Ebadat cranking one up to a shade under 147 clicks. Quickest he's ever clocked AFAIK. Taskin looking more impressive though with his line in the channel whereas Ebadat is bowling a bit erratically.

Sri Lanka responding well to the Bangladesh total.
It will be tough for either team to force a result here...biggest question is if the pitch breaks apart on Day 5 or not.

Extremely poor bowling performance from Bangladesh. At least the SL attack kept things tight when they weren't taking wickets. Of course the overly defensive batting from BD helped.
I expect SL to just bat on and put 800 on the board by the end of the game.

Probably one of the flatter pitches you will see. 17 wickets falling in pretty much 5 days of play for 1400 runs or so.

Bangladesh seem to be thinking of playing an unchanged side. For once I think thats a good idea because I like all the guys picked in the last XI (except Saif Hassan). That guy Mithun got a free ride in the Test side for 3 plus years despite averaging under 20 or something obnoxious like that.

Just the 1 change...19 year old left arm fast medium Shoriful gets his Test cap! Thrilled to see Shoriful and hope he has a fruitful debut and career.
Ebadat, who was apparently reaching the late 140s, has been dropped. Fair enough.

141 kph for Shoriful in his first over.
Pretty much every seamer in Bangladesh (except Jayed) can hit 140 clicks. Only Taskin and Ebadat can threaten the 145 mark though.

Yeah looks just as flat as the last pitch. Of course we'll only know after the Bangladesh innings. But it looks hella flat right now.
