Eh, expected result on a raging turner against a non Asian side.
I think Asian sides should be allowed to use such tracks, but I hope the dhaka test is played on a flat pitch to give the bowlers more of a workout.

Congrats to Kriterion... Bangladesh's first ever innings victory and it has come against the Windies as they seal the series 2-0. Fantastic stuff but at the same time it is heart breaking to see a team having such a great legacy losing in such embarassing fashion to Bangladesh.
T20 has killed WI cricket more than any other country.

WI cricket was dead before T20.sam_ahm wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 11:05 amCongrats to Kriterion... Lets be frank, the only player the Windies are missing is Darren Bravo. Pollard, Russell, Bravo Sr, Narine, Badree, etc aren't Test match players to begin with. They are the Windies equivalents of Malcolm Waller.

And yet, the West Indies have such a talented squad. Ok ok, talent isn't everything, but they have probably more talent in their squad now than they did 10 years ago. It's finding the process of getting the best out of that talent.Kriterion_BD wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 3:29 pmWI cricket was dead before T20.sam_ahm wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 11:05 amCongrats to Kriterion... Hetmyr, Shai Hope, Darren Bravo, Roston Chase (I think he's an excellent batter), Evan Lewis, Nick Pooran (scary talent), Shane Dowrich are all better than Pollard, Dwayne Bravo (totally over rated), Samuels with the bat. They just need to click.

I think you’re under valuing how good a player DJ Bravo was, great competitior and always got the most out of his skills.

The big three are really emphasising their importance aren't they. All three of Hasan, Mushy and Tamim scoring half centuries, with nothing else to report. The Tiger's batting really needs to improve dramatically

Re: Bangladesh Watch 2015-2019
This has been a bad series. We ought to be whitewashing teams like WI at home. Unfortunately, the BD team lacks that killer ability and until that changes we won't ever get past 90 in the ODI rankings (of course the rankings will become defunct in 2020).
We need to have proper players picked instead of recycling washed up players like Imrul, Mithun, and others. Then that idiot cobra guy drops 2 catches...why was he even on the field? Why is he in the squad?
The good news is, hopefully some of these players will get weeded out by the time the summer rolls around. If a proper core group is selected, this side should finish in the top 5-6 at the World Cup given the flat batting conditions we are likely to see.

Re: Bangladesh Watch 2015-2019
This is why people say Bangladeshis get ahead of themselves and are arrogant, the Windies took 1 and half games off India at home that's a big achievement and although they were diabolical in the Test series they're still a dangerous ODI and t20 sideKriterion_BD wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 4:19 pmThis has been a bad series. Not sure if it's always been this way but it seems lately batting 2nd in Bangladesh is vital in ODI's due to the dew factor, has it always been such an advantage ?
