This Afgan side is very thin on experience yet they are bowling us out in 26 over. Musakanda again showing he is in a class of his own great effort from him.

They are Capable of white washing Zimbabwe, and remember they are in T20 mode. Extreme Support for the players are there both from common mass & government, not like Zimbabwe that rules by politics, strikes, racial qoutas, improper use of funds.

I wonder how quick Chatara is bowling these days.. he has a good economy rate in this one.. Musakanda shining again in what looks another loss. i think we lost the game in the first 5 overs when the top order was batting at a snails pace. definitely need to restructure the batting order.

List A debuts - Abdullah Adil, Imran Janat, Khaibar Omar, Rahman Gul, Shahidullah, Waheedullah Shafaq, Younas Ahmadzai and Ziaurrahman Akbar (Afghanistan A)
This is very embarrassing for us.
Our team has Test players and ODI players, and among the handful that aren't there's Burl and N Waller who should be able to cash in against Afghanistan A.

We can kiss goodbye any hope of playing the next World Cup if a reasonably strong A team can't limp over the line against a bunch of debutants from Afghanistan. Ugh.

To be honest, Afghanistan are a stronger cricketing nation than Zimbabwe in pretty much every way. Last year they beat Zim (fairly comfortably) at u19, A and full international level. What more can you say?

Afghanistan have a massive player pool which is one thing but they've also got strength in depth particularly in the fast bowling department.

Is it Timycen or Tendai Maruma that was picked in this squad, when the squad was announced it included Tendai but now Timycen is playing :?:
