5 overs left and 304 on the board, what the total we would want? 340?

Yes that's the target I would think

Like Hhm said 320 was the bare minimum after the start they had. We should be looking to post around the 340 mark. I think that almost guarantees you a win unless you have some pathetic bowlers. Anything below 320 can be chased down these days

Your country is a Full Member now. You should be looking to work with ESPN on IRE (and ZIM) now. :D
"Your country"? I consider myself Zimbabwean before Irish, for what it's worth. Having been born & raised there.

That said, on the day Ireland and Zimbabwe play a Test in Belfast, I'll not know what to do with myself...

Am I the only person who thinks Ngarava gets favoured by Taibu and Streak? I know he hasn't bowled yet but I feel like he hasn't gone through the motions of first class then A team cricket yet he is constantly in the squads. Not saying he will never make the grade but unless he is bowling some sensational 145kph spells already then it doesn't make sense to skip the likes of Madziva in my opinion.

Thats probably the only complaint I have about the current admin, they clearly have their favourites like Mpofu and Ngarava. They also clearly have some players they don't admire like Madziva Jongwe Panyangara And Chisoro.. can't be a coincidence that 3/4 of those players I mentioned are known to drink and party. they need to get rid of that habit otherwise the day they fail people will point that out. Taylor and Williams also have their issues with discipline but I guess they are too big to be dropped.

Streak has made it clear he wants tall guys who can bowl fast, that's why Ngarava & Mumba have been fast tracked whilst medium pacers like Madziva & Jongwe have fallen from favor.

In all honesty every coach has their favorites or types of players that suit their game plan, a coach lives or dies by their results so Im happy enough for them to get the side they want.

347 is a massive total and they spent their wickets getting there, Interested to see how Ngarava bowls fresh from his impressive Afghanistan t20 tournament

Will Zimbabwe open with Raza or Williams ??

How much will Mire bowl ??

Probably a blessing in disguise for Ntini to leave, because he's absolutely had the worst attacks in Zimbabwean cricket history to work with, plus based on rumours about team strategy, it looks like things will only get worse. I can easily tell just by looking at the XIs regularly posted by fans as well. This way Streak will be the only one blamed. It won't end well.

Ntini even wanted Panyangara made captain from what I saw somewhere. No way him and Streak were giin to work out. Will Streak's team ever get 20 wickets?

NB: It's nice to read people admitting things they usually deny. Streak controls the selectors and captain. What he wants he gets. Hopefully no one will deny that in future or claim it was just an error.

That's the thing about ZCF, sooner or later you agree with me :D
