Re: Is Sean Williams a Test quality allrounder?
Williams could be a quality all-rounder in the mould of Shakib or Jadeja (who only averages 28ish with the bat). But the problem is Willy's batting is too fickle and he only scores runs when the game is done and dusted. The only decent knock of his in a high pressure game was that 96 vs Ireland in the World Cup a couple years ago when could have possibly taken ZIM home.

His bowling is increasing every game but his batting is dropping rapidly which is worrying , I have faith though , he is class on his day and there's not to many better than him in the setup. Yes there's talent but Williams has made tons at international level , he can bat and bat well. Hopefully it's a form slump , I'd back him like other nations except aus back there players. The runs will come im sure of it,positive is his bowling has been economical and has taken key wickets , if his batting would click the team will improve out of sight.
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

Williams is an interesting one, his batting has the potential to be world class but isn't because of all the soft dismissals. It is annoying, he tends to look good but throws it away with frustrating regularity.
As for recalling Elton, absolutely not. Check out his Logan Cup stats so far this season, they are not pretty.

Pariah and watermelon have connection to Utseya, Mangogo and Chigumbura and the rest is history. He has nothing good to say about arguably one of the best batsmen Zimbabwe has produced in Brendan Taylor. I think that pariah's very knowledgeable about the game but sadly his words reek of bias and racism

You’re trying to tell us that Vusi averaging 25 when Zimbabwe win is a good thing like it’s his 25 runs in those 3 games that made the difference
And you’re telling me to use my head

Seriously these two person going by the name of Pariah and Watermelon are very shady and they seem to have sort of ill agenda against players like Williams, Taylor, Cremer, Jarvis and Waller. They have got not a single good things to say about these players and as it turns out these players are all white. Sad to see the administrator of this forum still allows racists like Pariah and Watermelon to fabricate stories and bring divisions. I am an Asian, bias out of question, and i want the best players to play for Zimbabwe. We saw how gravely Cricket in Zimbabwe suffered for the last 13 years by virtue of racial prejudice and corrupted officials. Selection should merely be based on merits point blank!
