Well done Chisoro. 3 wickets on debut! Hard work pays off...

Well at least we've managed to finish them off nice and early.
But the damage was well and truly inflicted yesterday wasn't it.

448 all out WI

Lead by 122 runs

Chisoro bags 3-113 and his average makes him easily Zimbabwe's best spinner in the squad! He's going nowhere after this!

Mire and Chisoro are now part of Streak and Taibu's weird Test squad that never sheds anything or anyone! You can say that again Chamu!

Just hope BT and Ervine score runs in the next innings and hopefully we can salvage a draw
You would be better off praying and giving scarifies. Will our batsman even last till close of play today? For us to draw this game they need to bat till lunch tomorrow. But there are some tired legs out there. Mire will come out guns blazing as usually when we really need the guys to dig in and bat long.

For me there have been 6 issues/moments which cost us the game we could have won.

1- Team Selection
Not including Chatara when Jarvis got injured and picking Waller instead of Chamu who could have helped the pace attack were 2 big mistakes. In terms of team balance Chamu made sense and from ball 1 you could see Mire was injured

2- Waller and Regis crumbling when things were ok

The first 3 wickets were lost in some really testing conditions so I can't really fault them but Regis and Waller came in when things were good and absolutely gave away their wickets with no pressure on.

3- Cremer drops Powell

He dropped 3 in the end but the first one was simple and it cost us 70 odd runs. BT dropped Bishoo but he didn't last long.

4- wasted review
I blame the keeper bowler and captain for getting over excited. The keeper and bowler should have clearly seen that was not out. Captain should have been more composed

5- Captaincy
Had a bad game so it could be a 1 off. I just felt he didn't try innovate and in the end Holder and Dowrich settled into a rhythm.

6- keeper

The less said the better.

We all know Chisoro somehow balls better with a newer ball. Congrats to him. He should have actually had 4 if one wasn't dropped.

Now let's wait for the annual collapse of catastrophic proportions

What a frikken waste! Dominant positions in both tests and we handed it right back both times. Its like they don't want to be ahead as soon as they get ontop they feel like they have won already and take the foot off the gas. Disappointing

Yeah 4 wickets would have been even better.
