Umpires seem to have fallen asleep--good for us, for once

Moor has batted well. Should be in for Waller. He's not a keeper . We should just drop that whole experiment. Chakabva keeps his place for me.
Cremer has had nine lives this innings. Good to see decisions going our way for once. We are owed that much

We win that session. Very close to saving this now. 4.5rpo needed if we go straight out after tea.

Mire had a good first game, bad second game. That is decent for an incoming Zim opener.

Yes he has, brilliant effort. The only downside is that, that game being just less than 2 months away, could nullify his nick and confidence and could be back to the purgatory he was until today. But yeah to be fair, when it comes to scoring runs, its always been musical chairs for all our batsmen.Bulawayo Boy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 12:21 pmWould we say that Reggie has done enough to keep his place for the xmas test?

I'd rather have Mire down the order and a younger player coming in to open. Burl I would like to see open but it's one hell of a baptism of fire. Musakanda is evidently far too loose and looks like a middle to lower order batter. Mawoyo would be an obvious choice but he's looking twice as big as he was a couple of years ago.
Mire though, stays in the side. His talent is there for all to see but it has to be used in the right context, which, for me, is in the middle to lower order. Take out Waller and slot him in there or something but don't get rid if him.
By the way, how did Waller actually look whilst he was at the crease? Good, bad?

We've survived to tea. This has been a terrific partnership. Well done to Chakabva and Cremer.
At what point is it absolutely beyond doubt?
4.6 is the RRR now.
I know it's a Test match, but Zim have a knack for letting opponents off the hook (like SL's near record 4th innings chase a few months back) so I wouldn't be comfortable even at 160 required off 20.
Below 20 overs, I think even Zim would struggle to throw it away.
