Game over. At least we took four wickets to bring an ounce of respectability to the score. A very disappointing performance. There are serious problems with our batsmen at the moment. Other than Masakadza they have all disappointed this series.

WTF, i just logged onto cricinfo to see the score and the whole game was over, i am not sure if i am angry or what, i may have shed a tear. I can only assume that the dodgy Bangla boys have been making tracks to suit their bowlers ever since they lost the first one. You could see from the way they reacted to that loss that they are bad losers, so they have made it evan more hard for zim to win. I read the preview yesterday that was supposed to be a better batting track? Really, cause someone changed something.

OK, let's look at the positives (yes, you can dig out a couple):
Pricey consolidates his second position for wickets taken in 2009 (38 wickets), and Cremer moves to 5th spot from 6th (30 wickets).

If the pitch was underprepared (by any chance), we must raise all sorts of stink and make a lot of noise about it. It will at least shift the focus of people from commenting on the inept batting display :? . Remember, the ICC team was present at the match to assess the credibility of the pitch to host a few matches in 2011 WC.

But still speechless about today's display.

Had a meeting this morning so had to get a good nights sleep, woke up and turned on the PC to see the score and couldn’t believe it!!!!

Obviously it was a poor pitch but is any pitch really a 44 all out pitch? The Bangladesh curator prepared a spinning pitch to help Bangladesh and I cant really complain about that. What I can complain about is why didn’t Zimbabwe do the same in August as we prepared flat tracks instead of the bouncy pitch’s that would trouble the Zimbabwe batsman.

Anyway the whole result put me in a bad mood and I was sulking all the way through the meeting whilst thinking of batsman who could come into the national side, i didn’t listen to a word of the meeting but on the plus side i came up with the names of Dion Ebrahim, Greg Lamb and Craig Ervine which should be considered in the next selection meeting.

Think my P45 will be in the post ;)

Terrible match ! I wasn't able to wave any flag even at my home !

The match started at 9.30 local time. I initially thought about missing my class which starts early morning. But cancelled the plan to join my class and I decided that I would come back home early to watch the 2nd part of the match. All on a sudden in my class, I first heard that Zimbabwe 4/3, then 6 down and finally 44 all out. :?

What should I do coming early at home ??? The match ended even when my work hasn't finished yet.

Anyways, I know that CDS is a very good batting wicket. Lots of runs come there. But a very miserable batting display by Zimbabwe. My favourite player Mark Vermeulen was also dismissed very early making just 3.

In opposite look, Well done LEGEND Raymond Price. It seems that Graeme Cremer is also taking wickets.

Better luck next time, Zimbabwe. It is high time Zimbabwe needed a good batting approach.

It's difficult to know what to think when a side is dismissed for such an awful score, the thing is that we know this Zim side is not the side of 4 or 5 years ago, this side is not a 44 all out side by any means at all, it's just been a day to forget.

The players have got to forget this happened, start again on thursday and beat Bangladesh, wipe this horrible match out of their minds, especially before they step onto that plane for the 2 matches against South Africa.

It will be interesting to see if the ICC team say anything about the wicket, looking at the cricinfo commentary it seems that the Bangladeshi batsmen all got out to bad shots, so i guess the Zim batsmen did the same.

Just one little question, why did Matsikenyeri bowl before Price and Cremer ? :?

Let's all hope for a much better fight on thursday and see the players hold their heads up high
