Against Steyn, Rabada, Morkel & Phillander 50 runs all outFlakeman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 7:03 amI Like the idea of Chamu in at 8 ! He’s gonna offer the same as Don with the ball and more with the bat. Idea of Kasuza is madness in my on-the-ground opinion. He’s rubbish.
I’d go,
1. Solomon Mire (just on the off chance)
2. Ham
3. Craig
4. BT
5. Willo
6. PJ
7. Raza
8. Chamu
9. Cremer
10. Jarv
11. Chatara.

I don’t get the idea of Chamu batting @8 ???
If he’s in the side he’s opening IMO
I’ll take your judgement on Kasuza Flakeman as always I respect the view of someone who has seen the players okay a bit.
Admin please get rid of that tosser Stoneman

The white players that you have picked are worse than the black players that were in the last test . Comments like these are frustrating and it seems you are not even trolling. Should have a look at yourself man , not cool. Sadly the pool talent is not the greatest to choose from and there are always going to be underachievers/ not good enough at international level.Stoneman Returns wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 7:19 amRyan Burl

The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!
Re: Looking forward to Boxing Day
Expect Raza to be in by the 20th over!
You once again gamble on Mire, knowing fully well Craig, Taylor and Williams will inevitably be exposed to SA's current best 3 seamers within 12 overs (Ngidi, Rabada and Philander).
Once again the so-called 2 best batsmen Craig and Brendan will be anything but the best! Ditto Williams.
Then Raza will come out looking decent against Maharaj and Markram, then some declare him the best.
Only hope is to pray SA don't decide no spinner, and throw in Morkel or a fit Steyn.
Streak and Taibu have only 3 logical decisions to make:
1.Put Hami at 3
2. Make Raza open.
3. Pick a proper spinner and only bowl Raza out of desperation.
Ignoring Chakabva and picking Williams to add no value is ludicrous! If you desperately want to include Williams because he "can" bowl, then drop Craig/BT! Otherwise Williams has lost his spot to PJ.
Re: Looking forward to Boxing Day
for me BT and Craig and Raza have to come in as late as possible. maybe 4 5 and 6. Hami at 3. PJ has the patience to open from what I saw against Roach and Gabriel. still haven't decided who should open with him. we just need the openers to see off the new ball and then we can build from there. Chamu can be the 8th batsmen in the 11 but maybe he can open with PJ. then Regis and Williams can bat at 7 and 8. Williams just doesn't have the patience required to bat in the top 5 at the moment.
Re: Looking forward to Boxing Day
Hardy to judge how the national Team players stake up at the moment because no one seems interested in playing domestic games. Those in BPL are just warming the bench, BT is on holiday, Hammi doing coaching clinics. Very disappointing. They really need to be playing in the up coming rounds though.

Re: Looking forward to Boxing Day
As if Zimbabwe won that match. Regis Chakabva one of the biggest failure at international level, getting picked. Solomon Mire unfit for test cricket. Chisoro has nothing in his spin. Bobby Mpofu gets selected without picking any wickets. Bunch of Average Skills getting selected for politics, whereas domestic cricket performers like Burl, Nathan Waller still not got their test cap.Andybligzz wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 10:09 amThe white players that you have picked are worse than the black players that were in the last test . Re: Looking forward to Boxing Day
Solomon’s had 2 tests and his first game looked like he belonged , Regis scored a 70 odd not out and saved us from losing as well as Cremer. Mpofu I agree with but he has been a great servant of zim cricket. As to your argument about Waller he was spanked by a 3rd 11 South African A team and has been bowling poorly last few domestic games ! His batting has improved I’ll give him that . Burl I agree is one for the future but he hasn’t made a run since he grew that beard of his , great talent also.

Mire had no clue how to take on test cricket. Regis 70 saved from loosing as Raza's 89 & Peter Moor 42 were of no use. Raza & Moor clearly batted out Windies from win. Time was already over and the test was heading for a draw. Chakabva 70 has no impact in drawing that test, he did'nt performed when it was required, it was Raza Moor partnership that saved the game. Waller bowled brilliant in A games and improved his batting, but has been overlooked. Great Servant of Zimbabwe Cricket doesn't have venom to take wickets in test cricket, as taking wickets is all that matters in wining tests. Burl is far better then futures like Chari who every time gets picked out of no where.Burl haven't been given too many chance he deserve
