Whatever game plan the coaches had in this game it has completely failed mainly due to the senior players not coming to the fore. At the moment no one deserves to be the first name on the team sheet. if our selectors were ever versatile now is the time to change things up. Burl and Chibhabha have hang around and shown the hunger to do well something the senior players are lacking. Both should play the test match.

Burl and Chibabha have done enough to get in I reckon replacing Mire and Moor.

Moor hasn't put a foot wrong at Test level, Burl hasn't done enough to displace him.

Cremer our all-round MVP - again.

I'd say the Test team is shaping up as:
Masakadza
Chibhabha
Ervine
Taylor
Raza
Moor
Chakabva
Cremer
Jarvis
Chatara
Mpofu

Players in form should get the nod. Mire, Moor, Chakabva can sit it out. Taylor, Ervine should really step up as senior players.

Ervine scored a century away from home three tests ago, No way can he be left out.

It is two from Burl, Chibhabha, Mire and Regis.

Have been off line for a few days so just read through the entire thread here and I’m astounded at some of the comments.

First of all relax it’s a three day warm up game the only tactic is to try a few things and give everyone some time in the middle

People bagging Burl for his strike rate FFS !!!

Dropping Moor after the last test ?

Dropping Regis after the last test ?

The other thing I noticed is how Hhm only
Pipes up when Zimbabwe are doing badly and when they’re doing good he has very little to say.

Although he has no credibility after failing to answer even the simplest of questions.

Also I’m not sure what you guys were expecting from the boys under lights for the first time ?? Against a good side ?

Another 4 to Cremer, making 8 of a possible 15 for the match.

If we're to trouble SA at all, Cremer will need to pick up a couple of bags so if there's one player we want in good form leading up the Boxing Day it's him.
It's a worry that Chatara went wicketless, it's a worry that Jarvis was expensive.

I think Zim should be aiming to draw the Test match, I don't think we'll have the firepower to win even if SA had a shocker.
