Just logged in to see the horror. The only positive, if it is, is that Hamilton does not seem to be seriously injured. Our world cup qualification plans would have been affected with a serious injury.
And he goes too as I type this.
Taylor has serious introspection to do.

Taylor has had an uninspiring comeback to be honest. we have just shown the world how terrible we are. hard to take.

Does anyone know when the actual test match starts? I thought you usually played the beer match second rather than first

Absolutely terrible.
They should all be ashamed of the way they've performed here.
What Raza was doing i will never know, other than the fact that it was pathetic.
Burl driving on the up with no footwork, Chibahba clearly out of his depth against this type of quality.
Moor playing another fairy poke at the ball. Sorry but this has been a disaster, and what makes it even worse is the fact that it has been broadcast around the world.
I'm just gutted. Was really looking forward to seeing some of my favorite Zim players on TV for a few days, but instead i'm cringing for them.
I don't know if it's a lack of ability or is we're just plain thick? Raza's done that shot a couple of times (the WI test series) and doesn't appear to be learning.

Re: [Match Thread] Day Night Pink Ball Test: SA vs Zimbabwe
If I was Heath Streak I'd ask each and every one of them to take a long, hard look in the mirror. This has been an absolute disaster for Zimbabwe Cricket, as it will prove that we are not up to scratch for test matches, and will also be the end (for some time) of us touring SA for test cricket. Why would SA want us ever again after this wet batting performance?
Certain senior players need to look at how badly they've been here and address it, quickly! We have WC qualifiers coming up and we perform like this, we may as well shut down shop.
I wouldn't mind but this squad (on paper) is as good a squad as we've had in a while. Williams being the exception, I'm not sure who else I would have wanted in. We have Taylor and Jarv back, and then the young lads Burl and Moor who should be our future batting pillars. The Muzarabani experiment didn't go down well as he is clearly not strong enough to sustain long spells of pace and accuracy.

I’ve actually got chest pains and a headache from shaking my head. How do you go from 69/1 to 96/7 on a decent deck? We so badly need a couple of batsmen with Dog Fuck to strengthen our batting. None on the horizon headed in this direction.

Yep. mainstream tv coverage in all the major cricket nations not to mention the publicity surrounding the 4-day Test trial. Won't even make it to session 3 on Day 2!
No other country will invite us for Tests anymore. Absolute disaster of a game.

+1. And we knew the distinct possibility of this happening even before the match started. But still hurts very badly. This has massively dented all the good work of last 6 months.

I’ll say it for pariah , bring back Vusi . What a joke this test was ! All the hard work ang improvement means nothing
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!
