For starters, we need to win the toss and chase. That might give us a chance.

How do they work out who calls? Maybe Zim one game SL the other.

The visiting captain always calls, but in matchup of neutrals I'm not sure how it works. Either way it doesnt matter as the chance of calling correctly is always 50-50. Would be funny if they had a coin toss to see who calls the real toss. haha.
ZIM were probably a bit jet lagged and rusty in the first game without a tour match. Now that they've played a game, and given they beat this exact same SL outfit in SL, they will be confident they can get the job done. Its also important to remember that in theory, you only need to beat SL once to make the finals. But leaves it up to NRR since there doesn't seem to be any bonus points in this tri series (the 2009 tri series had bonus points which is how BD made the final).

Also this is the 100th ODI to be played at the Sher e Bangla in Mirpur.
The debut match also featured Zimbabwe (vs Bangladesh) back in December 2006.
Overused venue, as its the world's fastest to 100 ODIs.

I remember when Sharjah was the most used venue. Those Sharjah tournaments were normally good value. Tendulkar in the dust storm and all.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Definitely need another batsman at the expense of muzarbani ..probably mavuta heard he can bat and ball a bit
Re: [Match Thread]: 2018 Tri-Series Match 2 | Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka
Screw that. Chisoro needs to play ! Muzarabani embarrassed himself on Monday and isn’t international standard
Re: [Match Thread]: 2018 Tri-Series Match 2 | Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka
Chisoro should definitely be playing. I would take Mpofu over Muzarabani, at least Mpofu won't get smashed.

Top order needs to get us off to a great start and knuckle down.Taylor also needs to chip , hasn’t done anything since being back. With the ball I think we go back to 8-3 only because it’s sri lanka and it worked so well last time. I’d take out Muzarabani and bring in Murray just to give him a chance
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

I wouldn't read too much into the first match loss as they clearly hadn't practiced enough as a team having landed there a day and a half ago. Also missing the practice match was not ideal, given they were coming off that disaster from SA. We better put up a better show today. Chisoro for Muzarabani hopefully, and Streak might play his sonny boy Mpofu in place of Chatara too, who knows.
Win the toss, field, restrict to a decent score, and hope Mire comes off.
