I get what you are saying but still your job is to umpire and give the correct decision , I get it was a average run but does that mean if you nick a ball and it’s a no ball you should still be out ? I’m just pissed off and left work early to watch this, been excited all day and now feel like my weeknd is ruined haha. It’s a tough gig being a zim supporterzimbos_05 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 9:53 amThe thing is though, we should not be giving the umpires these opportunities. Why go for such a risky run. Ervine even stalled before he took off. Taylor gave the opportunity to get the leg in to play. With no DRS, you can't give these opportunities.Andybligzz wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 9:50 amReally sick of these failed performances with the willow , ervine was looking a million bucks until the umpire robbed him . Taylor’s one was questionable as well. Mire is in danger of being dropped as well
Our destiny has always been in our own hands and we have always somehow managed to try and screw things over.
I sometimes watch the team and feel the lads on this forum have more desire and want.
Indian and English cricket is a cult and bazball is delusional and embarrassing. Bumrah chucks it, Cummins has a shocking seam position, stokes is a fraud. Bangladesh shouldn’t have test status, Bradman was a coat.Marco Jansen is good, zim will rise !

Chisoro looks a far better bat that cremer , in future he should be at 8 ahead of cremer .

Do Zimbabwe still have any tricks up their sleeves. It will take nothing short of a miracle to come back from this. Our batsmen just haven't applied themselves. We really need two proper batsman up top. Zhuwao will always come in and blast a few Mire with his customary 20 or 30 and that's on a good day. You begin to wonder if any of our batsmen have a big innings in them.

Agree, but as a player you need to be clever too. You are 5 down and you go for such a risky run, you are asking for trouble. There is a difference between the umpires doing their job, and the players allowing the umpires to be in situations that do not help.Andybligzz wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 10:08 amI get what you are saying but still your job is to umpire and give the correct decision , I get it was a average run but does that mean if you nick a ball and it’s a no ball you should still be out ? I too am pissed off. I stopped watching after Craig went out. It is far too heartbreaking. I was pumped all day and then this happens. We keep letting ourselves get in to these positions after the players come out and say that we can't let it happen again and we need to be better, then they come out and are not better.

Only consistently good international standard batsman we have are Taylor and raza . The rest are not even close . Hammy has been really dissapointing , I thought with all the hurt of being dropped for world cups and missing out this would be a tournament he would dominate and do everything in his power to make one final World Cup .tawac wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 10:19 amDo Zimbabwe still have any tricks up their sleeves. I'm not able to watch any of this, but how on earth have we ended up batting Raza at 7?Andybligzz wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 10:34 amOnly consistently good international standard batsman we have are Taylor and raza . The rest are not even close .
Re: [Match Thread: Ireland v Zimbabwe HSC]
When does Raza have a go? Do we focus on batting the 50 overs or go for all or not. Raza and Chisoro have done so well for now.
