[MATCH THREAD] ZIM v UAE WCQ
Re: [MATCH THREAD] ZIM v UAE WCQ
Jarvis can't catch a break by the sounds of things from Cricinfo. He seems to be beating the edge in every over at least twice.

How tall was that Pakistani bloke? 7'1"?Kriterion_BD wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 8:10 amBish says he's 6'5"...Blessing is probably 6'9". Tallest player in the game and I guess one of the tallest of all time.
Imagining if Blessing was 10kmph quicker. He'd be devastating.

50-1 after 10. Solid start from the Emiratis, rather desis in Emirates.

If my predictions had panned out we wouldn't even have made the Super 6SpitfiresKent wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 8:16 amDidn't you also say that we would lose to ireland after only posting 211?

Dropping Moor for Zhuwao is disappointing, if the selectors feel Moor is better than Zhuwao then perhaps he should be in that opening spot. Why put him down the order. When you haven't tried Zhuwao in the same spot. Moor has done nothing to warrant a place in the side.

No need to be snarky. A lot of these people have lived in the UAE longer than many of the Zimbo players in Zimbabwe

Yeah thats what he was listed at. Can't imagine too many have been taller than Blessing.brmtaylor.com admin wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 8:14 amHow tall was that Pakistani bloke? 7'1"?Kriterion_BD wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 8:10 amBish says he's 6'5"...Blessing is probably 6'9". Btw, I don't think Jarvis' action has changed much if at all, but the reason he's not getting pace is because he's not exploding at the crease. Chatara's action is perhaps the most front on I've ever seen. I think if he was more side on a la James Anderson, he'd get some more swing.
