I don’t see why you couldn’t petition the icc to have a combined system, as well as have Irish teams in the county setup. Geographically makes sense.

You wouldn’t be sending 4 teams though. Not enough depth.

I play for Haverigg CC in the North Lancashire & Cumbria Cricket League and helped acquire Roy Kaia as our club professional for the 2018 season.

Any of you guys watch a lot of FC or OD cricket and can tell me what he's like as a player, both batting and bowling wise?

If any of you know him personally, I'd love to know more about him too.

From speaking to him over the past few months, he seems a really easy going guy who's down to earth and up for a laugh and a few beers, so I'm sure he'll fit in perfectly at our club. Also, he serious about his cricket and we need that passion in our side for sure.

We've signed him to bat in the top 3 for us and bowl his off-spin alongside myself as the 1st team's other spin bowler.

If anyone wishes to keep an eye on his progress, our club site is http://haverigg.play-cricket.com/. It's easy to navigate and links to stats for all games he plays this season.

Don’t let Roy drink too much, he would be a classic example of a guy who goes off the rails cause of his newfound money and social life. He’s a talented cricketer, but one feels he would be a bit dumb over there.

Sloandog go smash him bro !
