Ngarava has good figures 4-73 off 26 overs.

I’ve been crucified in here before about questioning the temperament and overall skill of Tari, imo he’s a long way off being a test batsman, a few flashy 20’s and 30’s against Sri Lanka doesn’t make you a test batsman. I think a few people got carried away regarding Tari.CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 6:05 amYes, but even then, we are noticing better consistency from the likes of Mayavo and Tsiga, compared to, say, a Musakanda. What does that tell about Musakanda then?

I know Tiripano's batting has improved a lot, but him scoring 121 at a strike rate of over 80 just shows how bad the standard of the competition has become.

How come there aren't a few random white players in these Logan Cup squads? Surely there's some club journeyman SOMEWHERE who rolls his arm over for fun and is happy to take a few days off work to get a Cricinfo page? The U19 guys? I find it hard to believe, to be honest.

Why?
I told you there’s nobody. Maybe only guy was Diplock.
There’s no one in Club cricket either, it’s over here.

Tari has potential and a real desire to succeed---he needs to be mentored and managed properly to get his full potential.
In ZC speak that now probably translates to manage his money into my bank and mentor him in how to do that to others.
I would persevre with this youngster.

True. Or he might switch to Rugby if ZC continues on this path. He was a really handy rugby player too and they seem to be getting their house in order with sponsorships and good admin now. He has natural talent which I think is a key asset. With time he will get much better.jimmylesaint wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 8:15 pmTari has potential and a real desire to succeed---he needs to be mentored and managed properly to get his full potential.

Where do white people play cricket for fun?

There is a boozers league which has scorecards on CricHQ, quite a lot of familiar names pop up.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Another 50 for Donald when seasoned guys like Mawoyo are struggling. Im impressed. I remember Vusi in the commentary team last year saying Donald opens for his club sometimes. Makes sense.
