I'm excluding the youngsters here. It's all well and good Taibu calling out the kids but he was in the same scenario in 2004. These lads (Murry, Burl, Mavuta, Musakanda etc) want to play international cricket, and though they probably understand the situation, they don't want it to jeopardise their chances of playing for their country.

This players union will happen and us players in it now shall reap more benefits. The usual situation prevails, player disunity. In any other major cricketing country the players always stand united in labour disputes, not Zimbabwe. ZC do seem very competent at dividing the players and ruling.
