For my part, I feel tired. Not down about Zim so much as just tired. Not giving up but not seeing much on the horizon. I think BRMT asked in a thread what actual rock bottom looks like. I don't think anyone knows. Zim has been heading for catastrophe for ever and yet there always seems to be some undulation between small rebounds and predictable collapses. We'll likely see more of that pattern.

I feel the same and therefore haven't been posting much these last few months, and I already regret to have joined a conversation which is as pointless as dreaming about Zim getting anything but an almighty thrashing in SA.

I was wrong about some aspects of RS. I can’t remember which parts as it was a while ago.
If an initiative like that finds just one guy it’s been hugely worthwhile. It’s given him opportunity to leave as well and that’s also a good thing. Our cricket will never succeed whilst the grass is greener elsewhere. It’s a fine yardstick. He’ll be back.

This whole witch hunt of Blessing and the rising stars is the biggest load of shit I’ve ever heard. And again the name calling and KFC references is disgraceful.

The only reason this is a big deal is because Blessing is black and because he got a Kolpak deal, Zimdoggy doesn’t seem to care about all the white kids like Byron, Welch, Hooper etc that have left Zimbabwe to live in England, maybe we should ban school cricket too so the club scouts can’t find them?

Fact is plenty of white and black kids leave Zimbabwe for England the ZRS project wasn’t to blame, the only thing it did was give these kids experience and time playing in another country.

Hence why its dumb dumb dumb for ZC, to send the kids to live for 15 or so weeks with an ex zimbabwean, to give them every opportunity for a genuine talent to flee. Tactical error for ZCs interests.
