You’ve been calling the old board corrupt and thieves amongst other things, now they’re being removed and you’re saying ‘be careful what you wish for’

And they haven’t been removed, they’ve been suspended pending investigations. Who knows what that will bring.

seems like jonty knows the ICCs stance, was going thru his other thread on twitter, sounds like its a done deal. but well we wait and see what the ICC says

I’m definitely happy they’re getting suspended or removed, things are only getting worse, Zimbabwe Cricket needs a circuit breaker, hopefully this is it

This is the best news ever since ZC was formed and it was longtime coming. I for one want guys with a cricket background running cricket in Zim. With DEB and the other lads back its up up and onwards

I think the ICC will not suspend ZC. Moreover I think there are a lot of boards like the BCCI and PCB who have some sort of government interference in the way their board runs, so if the ICC do take action it will be clear hypocrisy.

The fact is, the Mukuhlani led board has been clueless about cricket and have allowed the game to deteriorate at an alarming rate. We are at the level of an Associate national with no ODI status. Some sort of intervention was needed at some point, now whether this will be taken well or not by the ICC we don't know. However I do pray and hope the ICC are on the government's side one this one and we see previous admins like Ellman-Brown come back into the picture. People like Makoni will not be missed, if he has nothing to do with cricket I would be very happy.

I have a feeling this has set precedent for the ICC. Along with the fact that it is a new board that can’t really be held accountable for the mistakes of the past. Even though everyone knows the truth. This issue certainly won’t be resolved over overnight and it could be a long time before anything comes of all this
