I think a lot will also depend on if Zim has representation at that meeting and if they do, who the representation will be. If its Mukhulani then we can wave cricket goodbye. If it DEB then you have to think things are ok.

These crooks just won't leave it. They insist on fighting and taking the game down with them all for their egos. Absolutely the worst.

It’s not for ego, it’s for $10m a year and now the added incentive of real repercussions if SRC turn the screws because there’s no way they’re clean.
It would be surprising if ICC allow DEB to attend because that shows a tacit support before the jury is in and is tantamount to them having had a side bar prior to the suspension. It’s hard to comment without having inside info so it’s just supposition, but it’s close to my heart so I continue to.
A best case scenario is suspending us pending the outcome of the investigations with a monthly lifeline to keep us ticking over, but as I said who manages that may be indicative of their thoughts.
There’s a lot of pressure on SRC to come up with something prosecutable, not just mismanagement. They should have it, but whether they choose to pull the trigger or not remains to be seen.
There will be pressure to boot us into touch, of that there’s no doubt, there are now a handful of countries that are more deserving of our allocation.
Yeah that ICC meeting is a big day for us, but they’re not a kangaroo court, they will have to listen to Mhuku talking crap, and believe him until proven otherwise. What these first/second world guys will never grasp is that 90% of what he says is either an outright lie or a twisted version of the truth. He’s going to focus on how unconstitutional and personal the suspension was, it’s his only real card. We have a heads up from that radio interview. The fact that they spent years refining their constitution to keep themselves in situ will be lost in the ICC, that’s our fault for allowing it. If they’d shown the same flair for sports administration we’d be in the semi finals.

I’d have to say that who goes to that ICC meeting will be important. It’s very much in our interests to quietly and quickly get ZC to stand down beforehand. That requires a big smoking gun. A long drawn out fight is not going to help our cause. In the interests of our cricket maybe an immunity idol and a cheery wave goodbye is the way forward, as much as I would love to see them roasted. However if SRC have to play the long game to investigate that loan properly then that’s the route we have to take because that money saves the day. There are some big guns in the background that will defend that to the bitter end- Bvute, Metbank and my friend Mr B.

I reckon the ICC might pull the pin. Zimbabwe haven't done themselves any favours by losing to Netherlands and Ireland.
They've basically announced to the world that they are a cricket team not worth saving.

1. ICC will stop funding all funding to ZC but stop short of dropping Zim's membership (although I could see them ditching test status and putting us at associate level)
2. They'll lack the backbone to make any sort of determination on the board composition, but it won't matter because with the money drying up Mukhulani and co won't want to stick around anyway
3. The DEB board will do what it can to turn the ship around but without the ICC money there's nothing they'll be able to do
4. Those that can will go to county cricket, T20 leagues, NZ, SA, whoever will take them
5. Zim will not qualify for the T20 World Cup

This is looking like the most likely sequence of events to me too. Well put.

So despite the exposé about the netball team the management still tried to sneakily bundle them into a hostel in order to steal some more money for themselves. Ministers and others are obviously directly into decent hotels. People are onto them and they’ve apparently been relocated to better accommodation. Their daily allowance is supposedly $50 bond, which is around £10 a day. There are guys there making noise about this so let’s see where it goes. The fact remains they don’t care if they’ve been exposed, they just keep stealing because no one does anything. I’m guaranteeing that a number of the entourage will not be on the plane home, there’s tangible relief that they’re there.

There’s also a slanging match on twitter between Zolsky and Changamire Dombo, each accusing each other of being Makoni and Mlotshwa and running ghost accounts.
We live in bizarre times here, it’s low level stuff to be sure.

I know a couple of the people on the SRC board. It’s an interesting one. Dr. Allan Chiura is an ex St George’s lad and a urologist who has spent most of his life in America. He’s back here with his delightful wife who is a brain surgeon extraordinaire. They’re unbribeable and incorruptible, as is Colleen De Jong. ZC have got their work cut out for themselves if politics don’t play too much of a part. This mudslinging is hotting up.

1)ICC won't stop they have money to collect too. In the event they do- the thieves will leave and the new interim remain. The new interim remain-we can garner support from business/government and sponsorship to survive.
2)The board composition will be according to the constitution-minus the merry robin hoods whom will either be in jail or banned from standing in any capacity for life. Not the ICC issue.
3)See 1)
4)Yes they will but should still be available for selection. Also the new ZC should provide a structured career path.
5)We can easily with the foundations of support in place and a ZC that works for the players to win.
Now there’s a guy that would be bloody fantastic going forward, hadn’t thought of him.
Who?
