This is Zimbabwe, he could play the next 3 if he’s got enough money
I think he’s 17, depends when his birthday falls.

We’re competitive. Not that I’m surprised, there are some good boys here. Thin in the seam dept.

Myers has a big big future ahead of him. Most disappointing for me so far is Shumba. I don't think he is a natural opener. I think Tugwete would do a better job than him uptop.

Batters as well. For once we have two or three good, exciting batters coming through

ZC focus should be to get every single one of the top 7 in the first class scene next season.

If Ebrahim , the non batting and bowling number 9, wants to play then maybe daddy can pay for the Rangers to take him on if daddy has enough money left over from this tournament.

Shumba is definitely not an opener. As usual with Zim we’re short a couple of good batters and a couple of good bowlers so Shumba at 1 is a fill in. In a good team he’d be a decent 6 and he offers much with the ball.
They’ve got too many guys with a good eye and poor technique. It works until you play a good team.

The only guys that will make the grade at FC if they naturally progress are Nyangani (the chinaman), Myers (could probably bat at 7/8 in our national side right now), Shumba (more of a bowling all rounder), Shardendorf (apparently leaving for UK), and Madhevere (he’s in sa and will look elsewhere before he settles for cricket in Zimbabwe) and Bawa.
There are a couple of others that may make our FC eventually, but they shouldn’t.

Myers closing in on a very good hundred. Then I’d like to see him bat on off stump and give us a show.

Interesting googly. Have the Schadendorf boys any interest in returning?

What is Wesley looking to do? Is he lost as well?

I just wish these boys would go and do Uni and then give cricket a go for a few years and if it doesn't work go and do something else. I mean Lake, for instance, can go and coin it doing law. What is there to lose?
