Could we manage to go all 50 overs without a wicket?

Why do all teams look like superstars when they play against us. We cant find a break through. Bangladesh bossing us around.

Yeup we don’t need Blessing 🙄🙄🙄
No one ever said that. People just questioned some of the claims made about him. Two big differences.

I'd like to get in before all the usual confusion concerning the Duckworth Lewis starts.

Doesn't look like a long rain break, but I'll explain the basic premise of DL. Teams have 2 resources with which to score runs: balls remaining in the innings, and batsmen left to score runs (measured by wickets in hand). In other words, a team that reaches 250-0 from 50 overs cannot add runs to their total because there are no more overs left - all the unused batters are essentially wasted. Similarly, a team that is 250 all out in 40 overs also can't add runs because though they have overs left, they have no batsmen left.

This is why in a rain shortened match, the 2nd innings required run rate will always exceed the first innings run rate in a way which is inversely proportional to the number of 1st innings wickets lost.

Because quality players aren't available in Zimbabwe.

ZC's poor management & Mugabe regime were two atom bombs that shattered once promising cricket in Zimbabwe

That Regis is not an ODI player has been obvious for anyone but the selectors for the last ten years.

I'm honestly not against seeing the guy playing test cricket, but ODI's now you need to be dynamic with your shots. You can't play with a strike rate like he has. K-Long batted exactly the way you should up top last game

Looks like play might start in about 30 or so minutes. BD's innings will probably be closed.

My guess is 250 off 30 might be the target for ZIM or thereabouts.
