Compare how these guys (Raza/Willo) negotiate these bowlers compared to a deadbat like Prince who is just looking to survive.

This is why the deadbat survival argument doesnt work.
When its spinning and hes just looking to defend and survive, its just a lucky dip whether it spins enough to hit the bat, miss the bat, or edge.
Field placing is set accordingly.
Raza has scored nearly 3x as many runs in the same amount of balls as Prince made (who had the advantage of soft potato gun opening bowlers).

prince is nothing but a club batsman who is a bunny against a good spinner.

Poor way to go after repairing disaster. Burl needs a proper contribution.

Burl and Regis have to pitch in with some runs so we get some form of a first innings lead. We may have shocked Afg with today but they'll definitely come back stronger. I hope the team doesn't get complacent, cause this is a real chance of winning a Test match here.

Yeah, we can't afford a 20 run lead. These guys have to put up something decent.

Any ideas in why PJ Moor was left out? A batsman with a test average north of 30 and not even in the squad. Seems odd. It's not like we have 7 or 8 batsmen averaging more than 45....
