Re: [MATCH THREAD] 2nd Test Afghanistan v Zimbabwe @Abu Dhabi
We will probably lose this game, but Don and Sean take a bow.

Well done! At least they have frustrated the Afghans and shown a real fight here.

Great to see us go to the close of play without losing another wicket.
Can we get some sandstorm overnight that fills up the entire stadium?

I remember this game too, McCullum, Wartling and Neesham saved this out of no where. (I don't know why everyone does it against us!)

Saving this match is highly very unlikely considering these two are the only recognized batsmen remaining unscathed at the crease plus Zimbabwe have only three wickets in hand, that being said funny and miraculous things can happen once in a blue moon. Should these two, set a target of 120 or 130, or string together another 120 runs' partnership, definitely the pressure definitely will be on the Afghans. Williams is in the form of his life and probably the most valuable players in Zimbabwe colours. He truly deserve all the accolades in the World for fine, unbeaten and face-saving knock.
I sm looking forward to Don's century tomorrow and Williams double ton, fingers crossed . Guys like Burl, Masvaure, Chakabva and Kasuza should be utterly ashamed of themselves by watching at how Don batted today.

when each of them go out tomorrow let it be to very good deliveries not a loose stroke to mid wicket. if they price their wickets during the 1st hour, then we can begin to dream. right now a fightback is losing by 7 wickets. a draw will require a shocking bowling performance here

It is good that the experienced guys have stood up at times in the series, very disappointed that none of the younger batsman have taken responsibility. They rightfully will lose their places to BT/Ervine for the Pakistan series.
