I'm absolutely gutted. Why has he done that? He didn't need to do that. He certainly didn't need the money.
Is this going to have implications for his academy now??
What the fuck

Asking the same questions to myself. Most importantly i'd like to ask him. He was an icon to a whole nation. Why Heath? Why?

He was the guy who embodied Zimbabwe, on and off the pitch. Clearly that wasn't the case wben he was in the position of coach.

The extent of these charges is what has done it for me. It's not just about Zimbabwe or ZC. These charges relate to his time in the BPL, APL and PSL - these are wide ranging charges over several competitions and teams over a period of time. Puts to bed the theory that he was stitched up by ZC or whoever.

Sounds like a lot of it was uncovered initially from the investigation that stemmed from Cremer reporting approaches.

Devastating. It really is.

Quite a shame really and it was quite obvious that it was going to be Heath Streak, going by the tweets yesterday.

It also shows perhaps ZC was right in removing him from the position of coach back in 2018. The move which created a huge backlash amongst fans and even some players. Even i strongly thought it was the wrong thing to do at the time.

It is not just one event but apparently he has been involved in corrupt activities in IPL, PSL, BPL, Zim International games, etc...

Very shocking and very sad this.

Disagree Dogg, it's a shit thing to do. No need, just plain greed. Reflects badly on him, Zim cricket and also allows the likes of Zolsky to have a field day. If it was Makoni/Prosper etc caught doing this the forum would, quite rightly, suggest burning effigies.

Partially agree with Dogg, our team didn't intentionally tank and it seems it's contained. I hate this as he was a Tuskers legend, but it's not endemic and our young lads just starting out won't have this over their heads.
