You can leave grass on any pitch look how the UAE pitch changed between the two games.
With this weak batting we have Pakistan will out bat us on a flatty, what is the point of losing within 4 days. Might as well roll the dice on a win within two/three days or a bad loss within the same time.
And we must bowl first

Re: 2nd Test | Zimbabwe V/s Pakistan | Harare
Chivanga is playing. So who misses out? DT or Ngarava? The wise choice would be DT, but I fear the selectors might drop Ngarava. Would be very harsh - Richard bowled okay in the first test and is a threat. A triumvirate of Blessing, Ngarava & Chivanga would be very exciting and I hope they are brave enough to go with this.
There's also the question of who opens. With Masvaure possibly missing out, there may be a spot available at the top. The obvious options are Musakanda or Shumba. They will probably not want to expose Shumba at the top yet. Musakanda opened in Prince's absence in the second innings of the first test so is the most likely to move up the order again. Personally I think one idea could be to give Regis a go up there, just temporarily. People criticise him but it's difficult batting at number 8 with the tail when you are 110-6 or something. He might do okay at the top of the order on a short-term basis until we find a better opener I guess.
Ultimately this is going to be very tough again. Hopefully the boys can learn some lessons and we can go full strength and beat Bangladesh next time out.
Most likely XI;
1 Kevin Kasuza
2 Tari Musakanda
3 Milton Shumba
4 Brendan Taylor
5 Sean Williams (C)
6 Roy Kaia
7 Reggie Chakabva (Wk)
8 Tendai Chisoro
9 Tanaka Chivanga
10 Blessing Muzarabani
11 Richard Ngarava

No sign of Sean in the training photos/videos circulating. Could potentially still be injured. :/

Stuey does mention Williams as the captain, not sure if that means he’s playing though.
Interesting that he mentions more tests v Afghanistan this year

Looks like Wes might play, i see him training with the test squad so he might be opening.

I don’t think they’ll open with him considering he’s faced 5 balls and gotten out 3 times

Glad they've called Wes up rather than Kaitano.
Big shame about Sean though. This is a really weak batting line up. We aren't going to win this match with batting; we need an excellent bowling attack. I really want to see all of Blessing, Chivanga and Ngarava.
