I heard they were not letting the bangladesh players see it.
Spicey or a flat one like against Pakistan?
It's winter, so it's been very very dry here recently and sunny. Hard to know at this time of year.
Also some of the other posters on here I think expect too much from the curators - they work in difficult conditions with limited funds and training and this is not the normal time of year for preparing Test-standard wickets. Not so easy for them to just produce something massively different from recent HSC pitches. Also HSC has seen way way way more cricket than normal during the past 9 months due to Covid limiting the use of other venues, so again it's difficult for the ground staff.
Is Madhevere back in the squad now? It feels like a waste of a spot if he plays.
And why is no one picking Chatara in their lineups? Should be Muzarabani, Chatara and Ngarava.
I would be scared stiff about Chatara breaking down. When was the last time he played a four day match and bowled in both innings. Is he match fit for five days matches?
Against bangladesh at home unlike Pakistan where we lost by an innings we have a reasonable chance of bowling in two innings against them. I'm not confident he is a 15-20 over a day bowler anymore
Williams and Ervine out are huge losses...but it also makes room for some youngsters. Myers and Shumba should definitely start and I'd probably through Wesley in there as well (although it looks he's not as ready as the other two in red ball cricket). The Big 4 won't be around forever and developing the next generation is critical.
If Bangladesh were slight favorites before, I think they've pulled further ahead with those two big guns out for Zimbabwe.
Pretty keen for this match, it's been over 8-years since Bangladesh played a Test in Zimbabwe!!!
And its been exactly that long since a Bangladesh seamer took a Test five-fer. Though I'll give one to Abu Jayed because his 4-fer vs India had an absolute sitter being dropped.

I am expecting a spinner to take 5 fer. Harare track and Mirpur track are of no difference now.
