Nice platform for Taylor

Taylor seems to be raging against a fading light

I’d say I’m pretty realistic

At least we will get a 4tjcday. 19 wickets ain't gonna fall tomorrow.
Nice finish Zimbabwe. All the batters need to pull together. Shumba and kaitano despite experience can show it can be done. Myers and the more experienced first class members in Kaia and Maruma need to put there hand up also

Kaitano has done very well to get to the close. We've won three out of six sessions and trail massively in the game thanks to an awful morning. Looks like the pitch has runs in it tomorrow.

Kaitano looked better than Prince or Kasuza.
He looks very good in defence, blocks more like Pujara type.
I wouldn’t mind seeing more of him , I guess the plan is for everyone to bat around him.
Shumba looked better than Prince or Kasuza.
If he manages to bat through the whole day tomorrow it would be a fantastic debut for him.

No you are not! This is not T20 plus the chances of winning this match for Zimbabwe has pretty much gone out of the window so you got to occupy the crease as long as you can until the bowlers get tired and dish out those half-vollies to be feasted on. I am not saying that Taylor's approach is wrong, they need to score as many runs as they can before the pitch deteriorates, but one batter at the other end should play a dogged innings to eat into opposition bowlers' patience so that the the other one can capitalize on those half-vollies. The other day, Hashim Amla played around 270 balls for his odd 37 runs to save the match for Surrey against Hampshire.
