Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe | Only Test | Harare | 2021
Re: Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe | Only Test | Harare | 2021
Do not really know if Taylor's approach is too aggresive for the format or it is the way he should go about things. Kaitano seems very comfortable against both pace and spin. Hopefully these two can convert their starts into big hundreds. It is a wishful thinking but if Zimbabwe can score around 560 to 570 runs in the first innings things can get very tricky for Bangladesh.

For a team like Zim, it is remarkable that as many as 15 people have scored more than 50 runs on their debut. Two of them going on to get hundreds, Houghton and Masakadza. Both Flowers got 50+ too. The most recent debutant with a 50+ score being the guy Kaitano replaced, Kasuza.
Heck, Taylor throws it away!

Why??????????
Poor shot. No need that type of shot in this situation. He given his wicket as gift to Bangladesh

It is 15. Some would have hit it in the debut match, but second innings - like Hamilton. Probably you did not count those?Dr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 8:54 am10 Zimbabweans out of which four were openers as per my understandingCrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 8:48 amFor a team like Zim, it is remarkable that as many as 15 people have scored more than 50 runs on their debut. Also, 5 openers? Kasuza, Grant, Duffiin, Rennie and now Kaitano?CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 8:56 amIt is 15. Some would have hit it in the debut match, but second innings - like Hamilton.
