Chakabva indeed has reinvented himself as a batsman and he deserves to be in the team probably he can be the solution at the top. Marumani is bit low on confidence with those two previous failures but he should be on that flight to Ireland and he is worth the persistence.

Marumani will lose his spot to Ervine and mostly Burl will make way for Williams in the Ireland series. The thing about Burl is that he is a good bowler and I'd ideally want him in the team even when Ervine and Williams return.

Myers, Madhevere both looks very promising.

Marumani needs to work on his shot selection. Madhevere and Myers need to work on the temperaments...getting set and throwing their wicket away is something all the batsmen need to work on, from Taylor on down.

Lets see if Chakabva can break the pattern.

Wretched over from Saif. 16 off it.

Myers and Chakabva really stepping on the gas here.

The one major improvement in Regis's game we have seen is his ability to rotate strike with ease. He got bogged down earlier and threw his wicket away in ODIs. This is possibly due to his new-found confidence in his own game. Except Williams and Taylor in full-flow, we have had major problems with strike rotation in recent times. If he keeps this form going, it would be good news for the near future.

Don’t know why anyone has ever questioned Regis. Always been consistently good, and nice to see him going an extra step and having a really really good series with both gloves and bat. He’s the best keeper-bat we have by far.

If his name was Ryan Chatworth and he was white instead of Regis Chakabva, plenty of the Asian posters on here would be thinking he was a God tbh.
