I'm on another forum where every single black Zimbabwean is supporting Pakistan in this match. If you offered them a Pakistan passport or an Aussie one (is that a racist word?), every single last one would grab the Aussie one and be gone by tomorrow
I'm supporting Pakistan because they are a much better team, have had a great tournament, have some really exciting players, Australia are a bit shit and nobody quite knows how they've managed to get this far, and because Pakistan occasionally actually bother playing cricket with Zimbabwe.
I doubt visas have much to do with it. Or race for that matter.

Interesting isn’t it.
Not that I can talk.
In any sport I’ll always barrack for whoever is playing againat England.
The proclivity for English sport choking is huge and I line when it happens and love even more the British media meltdowns and how supporters whip themselves into frenzies.
Rises the devil in me.
But step outside the sporting arena I love Britain for the most part, their contribution to history, culture, arts and the British people…
Good humour and aussies and Brits get along like fire with great friendly banter.

Absolutely amazing, and the previous semi as well.
Jeez these guys hit 6's at will.
Imagine that poor guy who dropped Wade the previous over.
He'll have nightmares for the rest of his life.
As an old, proud Aussie, I believe we can ditch the Union Jack aspect from our flag. If NZ want the Union Jack, then go for it.
But in reading the article linked, I'm not surprised to the UK connection given our PM at the time, Sir Robert Menzies, was a supporter of the monarchy. Also, he was liberal &that seems to mean he was totally devoid of original idea. This has transcended through time to our current joke (read PM) who has now announced a policy to promote electric vehicles. A policy promoted by the opposition 2 years ago which he poo pooed.
Ouch! I've gone political. End of this discussion. No correspondence will be entered into.
