Why would Chats think a 120kph bouncer to a world class batsman is a good idea????? It might work off the back of a 140kph bouncer is all.

Burl needs to be dropped as well. Eeish this is annoying to watch.

I don't understand why Wellington is not bowled out in the middle overs. For whatever it is worth it makes sense to bowl a regular bowler rather than trying out every one.

That's poor captaincy.

Agreed, he's a rubbish captain. His bowling choices, lack of comms with bowlers, and his field placings have been second rate

Surely dissappointig folks but it's ok, let's come back stronger in 2 days time.

I would still prefer batting first.

They could think of giving the captaincy to Chakabva, but might be asking him to do too much - captaining, keeping and opening.

Shame Williams isn’t a more level headed individual. I enjoyed his captaincy a lot.

And he's onto our fatness
Tino is flanneling away as diplomatically as he can.
I like Tino, feel like he should be in the system somewhere rather than just commentating.

You’ve got a point though about fitness - some of the boys are enjoying life a bit too much. Burl has become very round recently
I'm sure Tino is biding his time. He's not rocking the boat now and he wouldn't if he got a juicy posting.
Great bloke, smart and well spoken and knows cricket, but he wouldn't even attempt to change the status quo.

Williams is the only choice for Captain, as barking mad as he is. He's a great player and knows the game.

Ngarava with the right bowling coach can actually become our best bowler. He just needs to work on a few things and get that in swinging delivery to the right handers correct.

Don't think there are any world class batters in this SL side. Kusal Mendis had the potential after that 170 vs Australia and that hundy vs India in the Champions Trophy...but he's woefully inconsistent. Nissanka and Asalanka haven't played any big sides yet IIRC. Some talent there in the batting, but the bowling has to be more consistent.

I agree, and I think he has a higher ceiling than Blessing potentially.

But unfortunately he’s gonna be stuck with Hondo and whatever failed local cricketer coaches him at his franchise and therefore almost certainly won’t get anywhere near his potential.
