Re: Muzarabani selected to psl
Legendary Andy Flower is the head coach of Multan Sultans (where Blessing is playing) and has left the bubble to feature in the IPL mega auction as the head coach of Lucknow Super Giants. This is the best chance for Giant Muzarabani to become Super Giant. de Kock, Jason Holder were picked today.

Re: Muzarabani selected to psl
He won’t be.
He needed to come up with figures like 3-19 today to have given himself a chance. Instead he was just his inconsistent itself.
He’s not that good a bowler. He’s Zimbabwe good but not world class good.
If he could bat he would be a chance.

Re: Muzarabani selected to psl
How can blessing be on 3500 whereas other players are earning 170000. Crazy stuff. 3500/5 is 700 USD a week.
I assume all flights and living costs would be paid by club

I highly doubt he will get a deal of course (although Flower's franchise have hardly any money left after day 1 so they might need some cheap options....) but if he did, theoretically, I assume ZC would give him a NOC for the whole tournament?
We have Ireland in April but obviously playing/training in the IPL would be far better for his development!

Re: Muzarabani selected to psl
Watched the auction yesterday and watching today. It is just ludicrous that a player of high value are bought at lesser price than some of the average local Indian players who could even break into national side though i admittedly understand that playing for India is not as easy as playing for Zimbabwe. Tewatia going for 9 crores is just unthinkable and absurd. Players' value should be given equivalent financial value as well.

I reckon Blessing is good enough to be picked by a smaller franchise as a squad player/ back up bowler. The crème is usually clean ncenrrated at Rajastan Royals, Mumbai Indians…smaller franchises are teeming with the Indian equivalence of the Marumas and Mutombodzis
