Hmm, he never got a century in international cricket.

Was it when he reached 100 runs in test match cricket?

Let me close this question. The century I was referring to was the one he hit in 2005 at the age of 42. He butchered the opposition attack to score 152 not out of 59 deliveries faced, playing for the Sunshine Coast club in Australia.
