I'm not too sure how the point system works but I'm worried that if the West Indies and Ireland win on Wednesday then Friday is a washout then we will all have the same number of points.. I saw somebody saying they are expecting rain on Friday

Shame we let them get too many in the last couple of overs - otherwise we would have been top on NRR.

Guys relax, just won a crucial game and if Zim can play like this I don't see an issue with winning one more.
Don't worry about the weather. On Friday it is mainly morning showers, only 25% chance of rain in evening according to AccuWeather who are generally the most accurate I've come across.

Ya we are in a good position. Today was great! Most reassuring thing today actually was that all three other teams look less than great. There's no reason we can't beat both Scotland and the Windies.

I don't know if I have ever been a genuine well wisher of ZIM cricket, but today, the boys have won me over, in the sense that I now respect this side. It is now clear without doubt that Houghton has done it.
ICC event, against their arch rivals, and an emphatic win. I hope they make it to the Super 12s and knock off a few sides there too (just not Bangladesh lol).

Sounds like a thumping win. Congrats to the boys. Won't be easy for me to follow much given the match times coinciding with peak hours of work time here in India, but hope they carry this momentum and go deep in the tournament.

I have to wonder why you have made over 6,000 posts over a period of thirteen years on a Zimbabwe cricket forum, if you've 'never been a genuine well wisher of Zim cricket'. That seems quite odd to me.
