Scotland look decent. The smaller teams obviously lack batting depth, but they all seem to have surprisingly good bowlers.
We need upsets in this WC. I bloody love it when a big team gets rolled.
Houghton has had a dream start to his international coaching career.
I know Ratshit is collecting a fantastic salary for spectating but he must have made a Houghton doll that he sticks pins into most nights.

Just watched all of the highlights.
I haven't stopped smiling. It was so nice to see our fast bowlers bowling under lights with the ball doing all sorts. Good pace as well! Just a good day all round. Chatara rolled back the years there didn't he?!

Now this 30run margin means we have to ensure not to lose to west indies by more than the margin that Ireland would beat Scotland...assuming Friday is washed out.
E.g if Ireland beat Scotland by 20 runs then zim cannot lose to west indies by more than that...

Scots pretty much guaranteed now... WI only mathematical chance...big ask... Zim don't lose too bad... Ireland undeserving but still stand good chance.tired of seeing Ireland in main draw repeatedly...

They've regressed from what I've just seen. They've no depth in their batting what so ever. In years gone by they had the Obrians, Joyce, Porterfield etc. Not the case now at all. For me Ryan Burl needs to bat higher. Coming in at 7 so just shit for his level of ability. He's a top 4 batter but has it in his head he's a finisher

Pretty sure you've worked that out wrong.

Wait, do the top 2 sides from each group go through? I thought it was just the group winner that progressed?

I love the fact it was against Ireland. I hate them with a passion, goes back to all the times they pushed to replace us as a full member.

They are a one man team, get Stirling out early like we did today and they have very little to back him up in the batting department.
Yes I also love it when Zimbabwe beat Ireland, for me it’s a great rivalry which is built on their jealousy of Zimbabwe’s status and also those 3 earlier WC clashes (07, 14 & 15)

Top 2 from each group. So 4 total.

With the threat of rain, and our lack of ability to close out the game last night, winning on wednesday becomes more crucial. We wouldn't want to repeat 2019 all over again and miss out on the final.

I'm tempted to drop Reggie down the order and push Wes to open, Burl at three.
