If it was in his hands Reiffel would have asked to play until the moon is out.

A good draw overall, the last couple of days have been fascinating. Enjoyed our declaration and theirs too, gave the game some life.
Still expecting at least a couple of changes for the next game, which should make us more competitive. WI don’t look that great - we have every chance of getting a win!

A draw while having a genuine sniff of victory for a tiny period after being 140/6 in response to 450 is a good good effort when you consider we went into this game without Raza, without Burl, without Blessing and without Chakabva.

WI Denied by the wicket keeper second time in a row. Last time, Regis did the job and this time Tsiga. Good effort. One of the most important 0*s in the history of Zimbabwean Cricket by Wellington too. Surely, after the first dig, and given the match situation, Wellington should have come ahead of Evans anyway.
Great game for Ballance, Kaia, Mavuta and Wellington.

Doesn't matter, we've got to be realistic.ZIMDOGGY wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 3:29 pmThat is not the mentality of a winner in life.sam_ahm wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 3:28 pmCome on Guys, for a team which rarely gets to play tests, and is half depleted it is a no brainer that a draw or a drawn series is much better than fighting and losing.
You all can disagree but the statement Zimbabwe are making here is that no matter what we are not losing this. That is also a powerful statement.
