Is no one thinking we should bring Shumba in for Chamu? (And bat him at 5)?

I really don’t see what Chibhabha offers. We talk about ‘experience’ but what we need is runs. Also he’s not exactly known to be a team player or good influence on people either so it’s not like he’s bringing lots of wisdom and leadership
Yeah I think we’d all be happy with that, but I doubt they’ll make the change, remembering that Chamu has friends in high places & he also has runs on the board.

Chivanga for Ngarava is a certainty, it’s just a question to if they bring in Tiripano for Evans or Nyauchi.

Problem here is that Craig might have said there will be no new additions but then you will see Sean Williams at the toss on Sunday. You can never be so sure with these guys.

Chivanga in for Ngarava is probably the only obvious one. Shumba for Chamu would only make sense if Shumba was scoring runs at the moment. He also wasn't the worst performing senior batsman if we are being fair. It's a balancing act.

You have to compromise where you can. An example where its working the other way round is that Mutumbami is a far better wicket keeper pick than all these guys who are currently playing but he isn't getting selected. If you keep doing that to every player you will create unnecessary issues.
